Pro-bono video production for green jobs organization, Got Green.

Last fall my production partner Keith Tucker and I teamed up with Got Green, the local green jobs non-profit to help them produce a video to promote their programs. Got Green has developed a green jobs training program that focuses on home weatherization, retrofitting residential and commercial heating and energy systems for greater efficiency and the installation of renewable energy systems such as solar panels. Their goal is to reach out to young urban adults and help them get positioned to take advantage of the new ‘green economy’. This video was designed to work as an integral component of their outreach program.

Working closely with Michael Woo Keith and I developed the conecpt for the video then reached out the local hip hop community to help bring the project to life. The song was produced by Derrick “Silver Shadow D” Seal/Shadow Muzik (http://www.shadowmuzik.com) and features Khepra Ptah, DK Mars, Yirim Seck, Laura ‘Piece’ Kelley, Sistahailstorm, LaRue, Silver Shadow D and Ayoka Fasuyi.

We just wrapped up the last edits for this project and so I am happy to share it with the community.
