Wetlands Boat Tour

The wetlands of Louisiana form a natural barrier against the force of hurricanes. The erosion of these ecosystems makes urban areas more vulnerable to storm damage. Our students took a tour of the wetlands to gain a greater understanding of all of the factors that made Hurricane Katrina so deadly.
